Being a mom, interactive education is very important for me.I browse every now and then in my daughter's iPad to check the new apps that would benefit for her at the same time learning new things in a different style and questions.
What is Splash Math:
Splash Math is an interactive fun Math practice for elementary. This app can be download in your tablet like iPad, kindle, computer and etc.I personally used iPad for my daughter.I was surprised when we are on the road last week for Spring break, my daughter used the Splash Math app and practice her Math whilst we were in the car. It seems you don't really need an internet connection to play the apps.
Things I like about Splash Math:
- Email Progress Report:I can't sit down all the time while my daughter is playing her iPad so I trust her that she would do her Splash Math with less supervision. I was surprised that they email me the progress report about my daughter.
- Easy to Understand:I'm amaze how the questions easy to understand for a 5 year old. For me its very important that my daughter can comprehend by herself with less supervision.
- Common Core: Having said,my daughter is in common core standard so this help her to have better understanding and in line in her kindergarten curriculum so I have more peace of mind that this helps to have more practice and familiarization of the questions and answers.
- Animation that keeps my daughter going: I don't need to beg my daughter to do the Splash Math, she is into it and she just grab her iPad and plays the Splash Math.
What kids can learn:
Basically, this interactive app is focus in Math subject,my daughter is in practicing the 1st Grade she's learning about:

- Subtraction
- Add and Subtract within 100
