Whether you like it or not today's background check is very important in every company, immigration and etc. Before applying a job they usually ask a police clearance if you're outside the country. I remember when I got a first job in Philippines they ask me to submit a police clearance for background check. Well, it is a protocol wherever you go. So it is not new to me anymore. Until I went to another country and got a new job and one of the requirements is the same.
Now I am in America and due to high technology, you don't need to waste time to go anywhere. Some employer has easy check background checks to make sure to maintain a safe environment to there employees.The screening is very important that company's should done before hiring.
