ReplyDeleteIf you really want to spend the holiday with fireworks and some cool gimmicks, I think New York is the best.
ReplyDeleteThis is a big opposite of New Year in Paris. You may be singing "auld lang syne" with French people under the famous Eiffel Tower but let me tell you, there's no fireworks there. You will just see the Eiffel Tower shining because of the lights, but after few minutes of waiting, sorry to say, it's time to go home.
To celebrate holidays in places like New York is such a dream come true for me. I wish to experience the big apple someday!
ReplyDeleteI only watched it on TV, the New York's New Year's count-down.. :)
ReplyDeleteI'll be home for the holidays and I feel it's the best place to be :) Well, I would love to spend New Year's eve in NYC near Time Square to watch the ball drop. It's different seeing it in a stationary position as opposed to the real event where it actually moves on the count down :)
