Binagoonang Baboy or Pork Shrimp Salted is one of the Filipino dish that one misses especially if they're not living in Philippines- coz its one of my favourite dish that I misses. The Binagoongang Baboy/Pork in Salted Shrimp is easy to cook.Guess? if you have a foreigner husband this food stinks to them. I always lit candles and incense to lessen the smell.
Ingredients of Binagoongang Baboy Recipe:
- 1 kilo pork liempo, cubed
- 1/2 cup vinegar
- 1 l/2 cups water
- 3 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 small shallot onion,
- 3 tablespoons bagoong (shrimp paste)
- 1 teaspoon peppercorns
- 1 small tomato,chopped
- pinch of chili-if you like more spicy which I prefer in my Binagoongang Baboy.
- In a pan, saute the garlic and onion in oil . Add the tomato and cook until it's wilted.
- In the same pan add the pork until brown.Add water and bring to boil or until the meat is tender.
- Stir the Binagoongang Shrimp, vinegar and chili if you like.
- Serve with rice and enjoy!
